Round 10 - Unadilla, NY Results


Tely Energy Racing had a great weekend racing in New Berlin, NY. We walked away with several podium finishes.

In the 8 am youth race, Canon Kuneff got his second win of the year in 85 (12-13). Chase Rutan got his highest finish of the season with a 4th place. Peyton Whipkey locked up second place in his class championship with another second place finish. Ty Ely continues to lead his class championship with another second place podium finish. Gavin Garlits finished his day in 4th place after starting last off the line. Tucker Whipkey had a great start and finished his day in 7th place. Three podium appearances out of 6 racers is a great start to the day.

In the 10am race, Cody Morehead locked up the class championship with another win in 200C (16+). With a 3 minute lead on second place, he cruised to the win. Olivia Judy finished in 4th place with her best performance of the season on her new KTM 150. Looking for her to finish the season out strong. Levi Koontz finished his day in 8th place in Sportsman B. Dylan Ely finished his day in 27 after an injury had him pull out of the race early.

In the 1 pm race, James Harshberger led the way with a second place finish in Open B. Andrew Boggs finished with a 4th place finish in Junior A/B (25+). Zach Nolan finished his day in 13th place in XC2. Justin Murphy finished in 14th place after starting out like a man on a mission. Unfortunately a fuel pump ended his day earlier than expected.

In mini action on Saturday night, Cooper Kuneff finished his day in 16th place in the Micro class.

All in all, it was a successful race day for Tely Energy Racing. With 2 wins and another 7 top 5 finishers, Tely Energy Race was the team to beat. Next stop is Mountaineer Run in our backyard. We are on a mission to use the home field to our advantage in two weeks.
