The inaugural High Voltage GNCC was a little bit mud and whole lot of heat last weekend as the Tely Energy Race team competeed in the last GNCC race before the summer break. Tely Energy Race team fielded 11 riders for the weekend and ended up with 5 podium finishers and 6 racers in the top 5. Team results continue to be impressive.

Grant Baylor had a great race and ended up in a top 5 spot in XC1. He continues to train and condition after an extended injury time off but after the break is sure to be back in top form.

Steward Baylor, Jr. had a rough day but still managed to salvage points and walked away with a 6th place finish. He was going strong but took had a massive wreck in the first lap and was unable to make up the time afterwards.

Look for the Baylor boys to come out stronger in the second half of the year.

Liam Draper continued his hot streak and earned another podium appearance for his efforts. He ended the day with a 3rd place finish in XC2. Look for Liam to make some waves in the second half of the season after some adjustments and training during break.

In the 10am race, Bill Gold, a support member of Tely Energy Racing, had a rough day in the heat and had to settle for 9th place in Masters A (50+).

​​Dylan Ely had his best finish of the year in Sportsman A and walked away with 1 12th place finish in an ultra competitive class.

What can be said about JoJo Cunningham?! He has dominated his class and the entire youth division all year. He is 9 for 9 but unfortunately based on the rules he has 2 more youth races to wrap everything up for the year which probably makes racers in other classes very happy. When he moves up after clinching his youth overall title, he is sure to be a force whatever class he chooses. JoJo is undefeated in 2019 and High Voltage was no different. First in class and first overall once again.

Ty Ely had an amazing race in his hometown race and landed on another podium appearance. He finished the day in 3rd place in 85 (12-13) and will continue to battle with the top riders in the class.

Paul Best is continuing to work to get back to pre-injury shape and finished his day in 9th out of 18 racers in 85 (12-13).

Andrew Segars finished his day with another podium appearance at High Voltage. He finished his day in 3rd place in 85 (7-11). He has been a consistent presence on the podium all year and continues to battle for the class championship.

The king of 3rd place strikes again! Keifer Galiano continues to do an amazing job in the 65 (10-11) class. He is sure to use the summer break to make adjustments and train to get over the hump of 3rd place, however we will take a podium appearance no matter what every time!

Ronnie Rusch had a rough day at High Voltage and had to settle for 10th place in in XC2. For his first year in the pro class, he is exceeding all expectations at this point. We will see what happens after the break when racing returns in September.
