March 19, 2019

Round 2 The General had various results but everyone was happy to get out of the black sand.  The weather was a little colder but everyone had a great time.  Tely Energy Race Team ended up with 3 podium finishers, 5 racers in the top 5 and 10 in the top 10 of their classes.

Steward Baylor, Jr. had a rough start but by the end of the first lap was running with the top pack.  After a few little issues he ended the day with a respectable 4th place finish.

Liam Draper is still trying to find his grove for the year and ended up with a 7th in XC2.

Dylan Ely ended up his day in 23rd in a tough class of Open A.

In the 10am race, Tely Energy Racing had 3 riders competing in their perspective classes.

Brooke Cosner, our WXC rider, battles the south every year and will be ready for the dirt next race.  She ended her day in 9th place.

Bill Gold had a great start and battled his way to 7th place in Masters A (50+).

Chase Rutan ran 5th the entire race until hit a tree on the last lap and ended up with 7th place in 125 B/C.

In the youth race, JoJo Cunningham continues to dominate the 8am race.  He again ran away with the overall and his class.  He continues to amaze everyone with his speed and consistency.

Garyson Smith was a force again for most of the race.  He was running 2 second behind the leader for the first 3 laps until a wreck reinjured his shoulder and slowed him down.  He still came out of the day with a 3rd place podium finish.

Keifer Galiano came out flying in the 65 (10-11) class at The General.  He ended his day with his first podium of the year with 3rd place.  He is sure to battle for a class championship by the end of the year.

Andrew Segars had no issues with his bike this week and dominated the 85 (7-11) class by winning by 2 minutes.  He led from the very beginning and never looked back.

Ty Ely had a rough start and had to battle his way through the pack to earn a 10th place finish in the 85 (12-13) class.

Ronnie Rusch is starting off slow with bike issues this year but is always at the front of the pack when the issues start.  Once everything falls into place he is sure to see some podiums this year.  He ended his day in 13th in XC2 on the day.
