Round 2 - Palatka, FL Results

The Tely Energy Racing team definitely had a great start to the day with the youth riders in the Florida sand. Taking two of the top three spots in 65 (10-11) and third in the 85 (12-13) class, it was an amazing start to the day. Ty Ely came away with a 2nd place finish and Gavin Garlits finished in 3rd place. Canon Kuneff again brought a consistent effort by placing 3rd place in 85 (12-13).

In the 10AM class, Dylan Ely shined again with a 2nd place finish in Schoolboy 250 (14-17). He is on a mission to gain that top spot and they way he is riding it will be sooner rather than later. In Women's Amateur B, Olivia Judy ran into issues with the Florida terrain and finished her day in the swamp.

The bright spot of the 1PM race was Andrew Boggs finishing 5th place in Junior 25+ A/B class with another consistent performance. Zach Nolan and Scott Dowlin didn't fare so well and are looking to regroup before GA. Zach ended his day in 24th and Scott ended his in 12th. Levi Koontz had a brutal wreck that required 22 stitches to his eye and a face that looked like he went 20 rounds with Muhammad Ali. Hoping for a quick recovery for Levi.

In UTV action on Saturday night, Jim Goughenour finished his day in 6th place and Richie Nolan finished in 9th out of 17 racers.

Some of our riders are looking forward to maintaining their results for the next race, while some are looking to regroup and make adjustments. All in all, it was a fun and exciting time for the first 2 legs of this 13 race journey.
