Results from GNCC Round 10 - Unadilla

This was an instant classic after its debut in 2005. The legendary Unadilla Raceway has been hosting motocross races since the late 1960’s, and the track has a world-wide reputation as one of the fastest, roughest moto courses ever made.StartFragmentEndFragment

Portions of the famous Unadilla motocross track (“U1”) will be used for the GNCC, which means wide, sweeping corners and some very steep elevation changes. There are some big jumps, but they are formed using the natural elevation of the terrain (no peaked doubles). In addition, the "U2" Unadilla amateur track will be used as well, so you'll likely see two motocross tracks per lap here.

The woods are fresh and tight, and covered in that trademark black NY loam. It rains here quite a bit, and the course will get tough due to the soft soil. But it offers better traction when wet than the slippery clay in Ohio. But it doesn’t matter. The New Yorkers are a hearty bunch and they're not afraid to tackle the mud.

In the 8am youth atv race, Colton Stoneking raced to another top 10 finish with a strong 6th place.

In the 8am youth bike race, Tely Energy Racing finished 1-2 in the 65 (10-11) class, Canon Kuneff came away with the winf or the first time this season with Gavin Garlits making his first podium appearance with 2nd place. Ty Ely finished with another top 5 finish with 5th place. Chase Inmon finished with 9th and Chase Rutan finished with 29th after a busted tire.

In the 10am bike race, Olivia Judy made her Women's Amateur debut. She finished with a 4th place and proved that no matter the class she is a contender. Emily Streets finished in 10th. Dylan Ely finished in 21st after some mechanical issues.

In the 1pm bike race, Coalton Cupp earned another podium finish with 3rd place. Zach Nolan also finished with a 3rd place. Kaleb Williams finished with 13th and Ryan Inmon finished with 23rd place.
