Results from GNCC Round 7 John Penton

he seventh round of the 2016 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, took place today, May 29, with The 27th Annual Wiseco John Penton GNCC at the popular Sunday Creek Raceway in Millfield, Ohio. The world’s fastest off-road racers were put to the test facing hot and humid race conditions.

John Penton proved again to be a favorite among the Tely Energy Racing Team.

At the 8 am youth ATV race, Colton Stoneking continued to race to another top ten finish with a 7th place.

At the 10am ATV race, Justin Victor made his GNCC debut and ended the day with a 19th place.

At the 8am youth bike race, Olivia Judy did not disappoint. She continued to rack up the win with her 7th in a row. Canon Kuneff rose up the podium steps to a 2nd place finish. Ty Ely added to his podium appearance total with a 3rd place finish. Chase Inmon ended in 9th. Gavin Garlits finished his day in 10th place. Chase Rutan had a rough day attempting a double on the mx track and fracturing his collarbone yet still salvaged a point for 20th place.

At the 10am bike rice, Eric Ross again set foot on the podium with 3rd place. Dylan Ely ended up with 7th place. While Emily Streets ended her day in 12th.

At the 1pm bike race, Zach Nolan was victorious again with a hard fought race that say him winning by less than a second. Coalton Cupp again earned the top spot in 4 stroke b lites. Scott Dowlin ended his day in 4th. Kaleb Williams finished with a top ten spot in 9th place. Andrew Boggs finished his day in 10th. Ryan Inmon had bike issues and finished in 12th.

Team Goughenour finished in 14th after mechanical issues ended his day.
