Results from GNCC Round 1 Moose Racing Wild Boar

The 2016 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC) presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, kicked off the 42nd Annual Season at the popular Rodman Planation in Palatka, Florida today, March 6. It did not take long for the racing action to heat back up following a four month off season.

The first GNCC race of 2016 was a success for Tely Energy Racing. The sand was new to most of our riders but they battled every lap and came out of it with great results.

In the 8am ATV youth race, Colton Stoneking, our lone quad racers, battled kids 3 years older to come away with 7th place.

In the 8am youth bike race, Olivia Judy started her year off with a commanding win in the Girls 8-15 class. Canon Kuneff received top 5 honors with his 4th place finish in 65 (10-11). Ty Ely also got a top 5 finish with 5th place in 65 (7-9). Chase Inmon got 12th place in his 85 (7-11) class. Chase Rutan ended his day at 24th after a mechanical issue in the woods, but made the fix and still finished the race.

In the 10am bike race, Dylan Ely ended his day with a 9th place finish in 200C Schoolboy (12-15). Emily Streets got 15th place in her first ever Women's Amateur race.

In the 1pm bike race, Scott Dowlin brought home the win in Vet B (30+). Coalton Cupp started the year off with a great 5th place finish in 4 stroke b lites. Ryan Inmon began his year with an 11th place finish in Vet A (30+). Zach Nolan ended his day with a 15th place finish in 250A. Kaleb Williams ended up with 21st after a bad wreck and a concussion in the 4 stroke A lites class. Mike Miller ended up with 33rd in 250A. Also in 250A, Andrew Boggs had mechanical issues for his first race of the year and finished 38th.

On to Georgia! Looking to improve every race. Congrats to all of you for working hard!
